Microidea Srl was founded in 1975 with the aim of providing a qualified service in the assembly of electronic components.

From the very start, the company has proved successful and has cooperated with major companies in the industrial, biomedical and military field.
In the following years the company extended its business area, creating a branch for the design and development of innovative products for third parties. In the mid-80s the "Design and development” branch enabled the company to produce Microidea products with applications in various industrial fields (from biomedical to military).

In the 90s the "Design and development” branch was further enhanced through the provision of the Custom service. The company can now provide a totally customised service to entirely match every client’s requirements.

From 2000 to now, by pursuing a policy of constant research and application of new technologies, the company has developed the Power branch with the design and engineering of the power units.

Microidea now offers an extensive line of inverters used in the field of renewable energy.
